Back to 12 pages this issue I'm afraid. Our stalwarts continue to contibute (thanks guys) but what we need is fresh blood to provide some material as well. Games reviews, replays, house rules, anything is welcome.
The second War in Europe game between Paul Ayres and myself continues. This time I am the Axis and we are playing with more optional rules, in particular severe and variable weather. It is now 10/42 and my Germans are on the outskirts of Leningrad and approaching Moscow. We have had one week of mud already with the prospect of more to come. This game will go the distance.
Paul and I have also started a game of Talonsoft's Waterloo. It's fun once you stop thinking like a panzer commander and more like a Napoleonic general. Cavalry charges are a hoot especially when you push the charge too far.
My Americans are hanging on by their fingertips against Barrington's panzers in Bitter Woods and it's still two days before Patton arrives !
Keep on gaming and I will see all the regulars at the Swan in October.
